  •       He Touched Me....

     Shackled by a heavy burden, Beneath a load of guilt and shame, Then the hand of Jesus touched me,And now I am no longer the same.

     He touched me,oh,He touched me, And,oh,the joy that floods my soul, Something happened and now I know. He touched me and made me whole.

     Since I met the blessed Saviour, Since He cleansed and made me whole, I will never cease to praise Him, I'll shout it while eternity rolls!

        Life is full of changes.......

     The past month and a half has been very busy for us;now i feel like I can finally sit down and relax again,and breathe.....

     December ........The girls enjoyed the christmas parties with their friends in La. and Amaryllis got to be an angel in the choir for the play "Christmas on Trial",that was presented at the church,by Salvation Station.  I was busy packing up our belongings again,and the 15th found us loading up our truck and trailer and moving to ElDorado Springs ,Mo. Little did I dream 3years ago when we moved out of here that we'd be back again,but the Lord has brought us back;and I am very excited to see what  HE is going to do with us here in this little town.There are many great needs here,and the Lord has brought us here to minister the message of "Christ and Him crucified".We are praying for a revival among us!!   We moved into the little house here at Lavernes mom's place (it is nice to be close to some family again).We quickly got settled in a bit and got some things together for Christmas;then we spent a nice quiet christmas day here at home and with Lavernes mom and siblings.His brother Cliff and family came from WY the next day and spent about a week here;we had a great time all being together again!And on New Years eve. we had another guy joining us,he's got great interest in the family right now. (I had to add this ,Susan!)

     January........New years day we spent traveling to Ohio.My family all got together at my brothers house for the weekend.Was good to be with everyone again! Now since we're back home again,I've been doing painting;The walls needed a bit of freshening up again,and some new colors added. So....now that we are a bit more settled in ;it's time to hit school harder again and hopefully get some scrapbooking done. So,to anyone that was interested,that's a bit of an update on our lives.

      Our testimony -      "For Christ sent me not to baptize,but to preach the Gospel: not with wisdom of words,lest the Cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the Cross is to them who perish foolishness; but unto us which are Saved it is the Power of God."   1 Cor. 1:17 & 18

      I've been tagged....so here goes!

    1. What's your favorite color? Well,I have many...burgandy & yellow and I love rustic & earth colors too.

    2. Favorite place to shop? We'll just say that Wal-Mart is about the only place that I shop at.

    3. If you were shopping which would you most likely buy?   a. lotion  b. a book  c. shoes  d. picture frame

    either  a. or c.   Depending on what I need

    4. What's your favorite animal?  Ummm.....I'm not an animal lover,and can very well live without them! I suppose a dog would probably come about first.

    5. Tell us something that most people don't know,about you? This one is difficult for me to answer,cuz I can't think of anything in particular.I guess one could be......I hate moving - even tho' I've done plenty of it in the last few years of my life.

    6. Grab the closest book and read the last line on the 12th page.    If he or she is not preaching the Cross,there is no "sweet savor" going up to the Lord,but something else entirely!  -taken from the Expositor's Word for Everyday, a daily devotional by Jimmy Swaggart

    7. What do you do in your spare time? Play with kids,bake,or scrapbooking

    8. What color is your room? White ~ I don't have any choice in the matter at present.

    9. What would be your dream job? I don't have any dream job other than serving my family and reaching out to hurting and needy around me.

    10. Do you get scared easily? Not usually.
